The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, reported that he held a meeting with generals and admirals of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) in order to evaluate the situation that the country is experiencing after the military attack perpetrated by the United States on January 3 against national sovereignty.
Through his Telegram channel he broadcast a footage of the meeting held this Friday where he explained to those present the panorama and the tasks to be accomplished.
«Yesterday we had the opportunity to review with the generals and admirals of the Homeland, future actions to preserve the stability, peace and harmonious growth of Venezuela, in the face of new challenges. “Let’s go then!” he exhorted.
Previously, the sector vice president of Defense and Sovereignty also assured that the firmness, dignity and morality of the Fanb remain intact after the US aggression that claimed the lives of more than 100 people, including civilians and soldiers, whom he described as “heroes and heroines of January 3, 2026.”
«The Homeland does not forget those who defend it; the Homeland claims them for immortality,” was the message for those who offered their lives in defense of the nation, during the delivery of Honor Offerings and Post Mortem Promotion Ribbons to the families of the troops who fell in combat.
He explained that The leadership of the Fanb, tested under fire and in the midst of the adversities of combat, today guarantees the stability and peace of the Republicwith the firm conviction that national independence is the supreme cause that summons the military forces.
