Santo Domingo.– TO 16 days of the girl’s disappearance Brianna Genaohis family continues to cling to hope and has called for a peaceful march for this Sunday at 9:00 in the morning, demanding concrete responses and progress from the authorities.
The call coincides with a moment of deep emotional charge. Through a story published on her Instagram account, the minor’s mother, Yessica González, shared a video that has touched the sensitivity of the population: in the images Brianna is seen celebrating what appears to be her third birthday, wearing a pink dress, smiling and surrounded by joy.
Along with the audiovisual, the mother wrote a message that summarizes the pain and the wait: “Mommy is still waiting for you, princess.”
While the family cries out for answers, authorities assure that the search efforts have not stopped.
The spokesperson for the National Police, Diego Pesqueira, reported that the work to find Brianna’s whereabouts will continue uninterrupted, using all the human and technical resources necessary to collect clues that strengthen the investigation.
Likewise, he indicated that the hope remains of finding the minor alive, and assured that the relief agencies, the National Police and the Public Ministry work in a coordinated manner, with a single objective: to locate the girl safe and sound.
Brianna’s case adds to the growing national concern about the disappearance of minors, as is also the case with the child Roldany Calderón, whose whereabouts remain unknown more than nine months after his disappearance.

Both disappearances have generated a strong social call to strengthen search and prevention mechanisms.
Between faith, anguish and hope, the country is carefully watching the development of these investigations, while two families continue to live a wait that becomes more painful with each passing day.
