This Friday morning (16), the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MPSP) carries out Operation Serpens, to investigate the involvement of a police officer suspected of being involved with the criminal faction of Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). She’s trapped.
Seven search and seizure warrants were executed in São Paulo and Marabá, and two temporary arrest warrants.
According to information released by the MPSP itself, the delegate – whose name was not revealed – maintained a personal and professional connection with members of the PCC. She used her position irregularly in custody hearings for prisoners belonging to the criminal faction.
Alongside the MPSP in this action are also the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (GAECO), the General Inspectorate of the Civil Police of the State of São Paulo and Gaeco do Pará.
