equipment Hydrocapital and Civil Protection commissions were deployed to the site to assess the damage and begin repair work. According to reports from the Public Services Directorate of the municipality, the breakage also forced the Alimentador Sur to be paralyzed, which has left several areas of eastern Caracas without water supply.

Local authorities have urged citizens to avoid traveling through the area and take alternate routes while recovery work is underway. So far, no official estimate has been offered on the time it will take to restore the passage or the drinking water service.

This event represents the third failure recorded in that same pipeline in recent months, which has generated concern among residents about the recurrence of the problem and its impact on mobility and quality of life in the area.
