The political party People First began his registration to participate in the Elections 2026after the National Election Jury (JNE) ordered the institution’s systems (Declara +) to be opened for 12 hours for the corresponding registration.
In that sense, this Wednesday, January 14, the legal representative of the political organization presented the registration request to the Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Centro 1 of the presidential slate, headed by Marisol Pérez Tello. Along with it, they also postulate Raúl Molina Martínez and Manuel Ato del Avellanal Carrera for the positions of first and second vice president.
The latter, Ato del Avellanal, according to his Affidavit of Resume (DJHV) that he submitted to the electoral body, has a contractual claim (file 239-2007) from the Second Commercial Court of Lima that was declared founded and not appealed. “Obligation to give a sum of money”, reads in the complementary information part of the DJHV.

The application for registration of the presidential ticket must be reviewed by the JEE of Lima Centro 1. If any error is found, it will be declared inadmissible and the party will have two calendar days to correct the errors so that it can be admitted.
After that, the candidate formula will go to a three-day cross-check process in which citizens will be able to present the claims they consider necessary. If admitted, the JEE will evaluate them and decide in three days. This decision may be appealed before the Plenary Session of the JNE.
If no blemish is presented, the party will be formally registered to compete in the electoral elections on April 12 of this year.
