For several months now, the Board of Directors and officials of the Cerro Largo Agricultural Society have been working on organizing a new Edition of the Sheep Expo.
On this occasion, it will be held on February 7 and 8 at the Conventos location, with new attractions and with free entry to the fairgrounds, as highlighted.
“We have been working for some time with the 103rd Melo Sheep Expo, which will take place on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of next month.” confirmed the Dr. Fabián Gularte.

Gularte revealed that in Cerro Largo there is an important group of artisans who work in wool. “They need promotion so that people know the number of wool artisans we have. Those from here are going to meet with those from surrounding areas to organize a contest at the Conventos location that weekend of February 7 and 8” he stressed.
Surely the stands will be located in the parking area because the rest of the property, including the sheds, will be used exclusively for the sheep and the work of the qualification juries. “Last year we already put several gasebos for them and this year depending on the weather we are going to see what we set up, including tents, to have all the artisans in a place that is neat and where they can show off their work in the best way. Since it is going to be a championship, a contest, they all have to be very well organized” announced the President of the Cerro Largo Agricultural Society.
“There will be samples and sales of products, but anyone who wants to compete with certain garments will also be able to do so.” he explained.
GOOD EXPECTATIONS IN NUMBER OF PLAYERS
