Santo Domingo.– Nine months after the child’s disappearance Roldanis Calderonhis relatives requested this Tuesday that expand search efforts with international supportafter the arrival in the country of agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The request arises after the presence of members of the FBI in Dominican territory was confirmed to collaborate in locating Brianna Genaothe three-year-old girl reported missing since the December 31, 2025 in Imbert, Puerto Plata.
Complaint for lack of responses
The Calderón family lawyer, Jaime Cabralassured that to date they have not received specific information about the whereabouts of the minor, who disappeared on March 30, 2025 in the community The Planksof the municipal district Manabaoin Jarabacoa.
During his intervention in the program The Midday ShowCabral explained that they have tried without success to obtain answers from the Dominican authorities, so they are now seeking support from international organizations.
“We are experiencing a regrettable moment with what happened in Puerto Plata, and we too have been without answers for months. We are going to take advantage of the presence of foreign organizations to deal with our child’s case,” he said.
Efforts exhausted before the PGR
The legal representative stated that the family has exhausted all legal remedies before the Attorney General’s Office (PGR)no results.
“We have filed requests to obtain information and everything has been in vain. There is a permanent mystery surrounding the case,” he indicated.
Parental clamor
For his part, the minor’s father, Efrain Calderonstated that he will not stop his fight until he knows what happened to his son.
“I’m not going to get tired. If the FBI arrives it is because there has not been good handling of these cases,” he said.
Meanwhile, the child’s mother, Carolina Urenaexpressed his anguish when remembering that his son has already turned four years old without the family having any news about him.
“My son turned four years old and I didn’t know anything. I no longer know if I have one child or two. All we want is to know what happened, whatever it was,” he concluded..
