Oswil Josué Fhillco Montenegro is the 46-year-old man who took the life of his partner, Pamela Rocha Sanabria, on Tuesday, March 8.

The femicide occurred in Potosí, where the authorities follow the trail of the criminal who is on the run and of which several details were revealed.

Who is Pamela’s femicide?

Fhillco is a lawyer by profession, he defined himself as a “radical Christian” and even became a candidate for the Front for Victory (FPV), for which Chi Hyun Chung ran in the 2020 presidential elections.

“He is a lawyer, but he never worked. His mother supported him,” was the brief description that Potosi obtained from a resident of Calama street, Railway zone, on Fhillco, who is now wanted by the Special Force to Fight Violence (Felcv).

“He is arrogant, arrogant and violent,” commented another neighbor of the neighborhood where the femicide occurred.

In a Facebook profile that the now fugitive had on the social network and that was deleted after the crime, Fhillco said that he was “departmental chief of Potosí, Chi Presidente”, and assured that he was a “political candidate for Potosí”.

In the FPV lists for that electoral contest, Fhillco appears as a candidate for second plurinominal deputy.

The Facebook profile that was removed also showed that the lawyer wanted for femicide defined himself as a “radical Christian.” Her victim’s mother claimed that Phillco was “controlling,” checking her cell phone and beating her.

“He took her cell phone, her keys, she didn’t let him do anything, he was with her as her bodyguard,” Pamela’s mother told Sabco Vision.

The records show that the victim’s sister helped him take a house in Anticretico so that he could live together with his three-year-old son, away from Oswill Josué. However, according to her mother, he managed to “convince” her to come back.

The Police are now looking for Fhillco and a lawyer from the Justice Observatory of the Free Voices Foundation is in charge of the legal defense of Pamela’s relatives.
