After an agreement between the government and businessmen, several chains of supermarkets They will offer a combo every Thursday, for 1,000 pesos, which contains nine basic products, which they say represents a discount of around 30%.
“I see it as excellent; I say it for us, the elderly, who do not have one,” said a client.
Citizen Eutilio Martínez said that the offer is excellent and that the supermarkets they are placing good products. “It’s very suitable, and for the price it is, it’s very affordable,” he said.

Businesses prepackaged the nine products in a bag, while others enabled the space for people to freely choose the products that are being sold at the price of unexpected and do not have to take a ready-made package.
Last Tuesday, the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), the unexpected and the chains of supermarkets de la Sirena, Plaza Lama, Centro Cuesta Nacional, Iberia and La Fuente launched the campaign “Purchase at the Price of unexpected in the Supermarket”, so that the population can acquire food from the basic basket at low costs every Thursday.
The campaign began today and will last three months in its first stage. Each store will have a specific amount of products available every Thursday, so they will sell while supplies last.
