Santo Domingo.– A court in Santo Domingo Oeste imposed this Monday a financial guarantee of one million pesos, periodic presentation and prevention from leaving the country against a man accused of running over two women in an event that occurred on January 4 in the Las Palmas de Herrera sector.
The Peace Court of Santo Domingo Oeste issued the measures against Aquilino Ramoscharged by the Public Ministry for the attack of Ana Rosa Caba Marte and Blasina José de Báezwho remain under medical care due to the injuries suffered.
The judge Cecilia Toribio adopted the decision despite the fact that the Public Ministry had requested preventive detention as a coercive measure.
According to the file presented by the prosecutor Sandy Santanathe accused would have been consuming alcoholic beverages in a grocery store near the scene of the incident and, later, he left driving his vehicle recklessly, impacting the two women.
