A 69-year-old woman, identified as Magda, is in critical condition after being hit by a van on the Huancayo-Chupaca route at the intersection of Jacinto Ibarra and Próceres avenues, in the district of Chilca.
According to witnesses, the elderly woman was carrying a bucket of water to wash the fruit she sells when she was hit by the transport unit. Neighbors and passersby immediately helped her and took her to the Huancayo clinic, where she remains hospitalized.
Her daughter, Rosmery, reported that her mother is in the Intensive Care Unit with a reserved prognosis. The doctors told him that he has a brain hematoma and internal bleeding, so his condition is delicate.
Although SOAT has been covering part of the medical expenses, the family requested support for the purchase of diapers and other supplies necessary during their treatment.
