Faced with the high cost of living and the discontent expressed by thousands of citizens, the Education, Youth and Sports Commission of the Congress of the Republic approved an opinion that determines an increase in bonuses and bonuses for schooling, applied only to teachers. The increase is S/3,500.70.
The ruling seeks an increase by National Holidays and Christmas, as well as schooling in favor of teachers of regular basic education, alternative basic education, special basic education and technical-productive education, as well as educational assistants.
It will be established that said benefits are equivalent to the Full Monthly Remuneration (RIM) corresponding to the scale of the Public Teaching Career, in order to strengthen the remuneration scale.
In this way, the bonus and bonus are paid directly to the beneficiary teacherin a single army, through the single payment form, in the months of July, March and December, respectively.
PENDING PAYMENTS
On the other hand, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was authorized to make budget modifications, with the objective of executing, exceptionally and for the only time, the payment of schooling bonus in favor of teachers who have entered as appointed to the Public Teaching Career, as of March 1, 2024.
This payment is awarded during Fiscal Year 2026.
