During the visit, the leader of Voluntad Popular asked about his family and sent a thank you to the media for their coverage of the release of political prisoners.
Aurora Silva reported that after almost 18 months she was able to see her husband, Freddy Superlano, this Sunday, January 11. “He is strong and convinced that he will be released soon,” he said at the end of the visit at the El Rodeo I detention center, in Guatire, Miranda state.
Silva pointed out that he was able to see him through a glass and found that he is fine, although a little thinner. «They are aware of what happened, they are waiting for their releases… They are extremely strengthened, I saw my husband strengthened, he prays a lot. “He tells me that he prays a lot at night.”
During the visit, the leader of Voluntad Popular asked about his family and sent a thank you to the media for their coverage of the releases, as well as to all Venezuelans for the fight on behalf of political prisoners.
“The only thing he did was ask me about the girl, about his children, about his mother, about his family… (he is) hopeful that this will end soon,” Silva said.

Freddy Superlano was arrested on July 30, 2024, in Caracas, during a “chase”, in which they shot at the vehicle he was traveling in and crashed it, until they intercepted him on the main avenue of Sebucan, Sucre municipality in the state of Miranda.
After almost 18 months, Aurora was able to see her husband, Freddy Superlano, and confirms that his spirit and strength are still strong.
He wholeheartedly appreciates the effort that so many Venezuelans have made for the freedom of each political prisoner and the support received during this time.

Silva stressed that the relatives will remain outside the prison waiting for the releases and demanding the release of all political prisoners.
