Parents question teachers and reject the suspension of classes

The departmental boards of parents were summoned by the national board to a meeting this Thursday, in the city of La Paz, to make decisions rejectingor to the unemployment of the urban Magisterium, convened for this Friday (March 18).

He anticipated that if the Magisterium ratifies the measure, they will ask that proceed to the deduction of salaries and “the return of salaries of the two years in which parents acted as teachers for their children because many teachers only send homework through the platforms and it was the parents who helped solve them,” he said.

After the board meeting, the parent representatives plan to meet with authorities from the Ministry of Education to address the subject of items. Aguilar recalled that Santa Cruz has a deficit of more than 2,000 positions, which are covered by parents.
