They march in CDMX to demand the release of Maduro

Among the attendees, the presence of the Mexican writer Paco Ignacio Taibo II, current director of the Economic Culture Fund, stood out, who joined the protest as a gesture of political and symbolic support for the demands of the contingent.

Protesters during the march held this Saturday in Mexico City in solidarity with Venezuela and in rejection of the intervention of the United States.

Peasant organizations and unions such as the Neighborhood Assembly and the Mexican Electricians Union also joined the mobilization.

“Yankees out of Latin America!” and “Zionists out of Palestine!” were some of the slogans raised by the protesters.

This is the second protest held in the capital to demand the release of Maduro, the first was called on January 3 at the US Embassy.
