Venezuela to the US: security alert lacks foundations

Venezuela reiterates condemnation of the systematic barbarism of the Israel regime

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela observes that the security alert, relative to our country, issued by the United States Department of State is based on non-existent stories aimed at fabricating a perception of risk that does not exist.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Yván Gil through an official statement published on his Telegram channel, where he points out that Venezuela is in absolute calm, peace and stability. “All populated centers, communication routes, control points and security devices function normally, and all of the weapons of the Republic are under the control of the Bolivarian Government, the only guarantor of the legitimate monopoly of force and the tranquility of the Venezuelan people.”

Venezuela is in absolute calm, peace and stability. All population centers, communication routes, control points and security devices function normally, and all of the weapons of the Republic are under the control of the Bolivarian Government, the only guarantor of the legitimate monopoly of force and the tranquility of the Venezuelan people.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratifies its commitment to the protection of peace, institutional stability and coexistence of the Venezuelan people.

Caracas, January 1, 2026.

The response of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry is due to a statement issued by the US government stating that armed militias in Venezuela are allegedly looking for Americans or evidence of “support for the US” and called on its citizens not to travel or leave the country “immediately” when international flights resume.
