The UCV authorities indicated that the scheduled return “seeks to guarantee an orderly and safe transition” until normality of university life is recovered.
The Central University of Venezuela will restart its academic activities on Monday, January 19, after an evaluation of the country’s political conditions.
Through a statement, the rector’s authorities reported that the decision was made after an evaluation of the mobility and security conditions throughout the national territory that allow students, as well as all administrative and worker personnel, to move in safe conditions.
The return schedule is as follows:
Monday, January 12: gradual return to administrative and operational activities. This will allow the adaptation of services and the necessary internal coordination in each department and faculty.
Monday, January 19: full resumption of academic activities in all their modalities, with permanent monitoring of the evolution of the national situation.
The authorities indicated that the scheduled return “seeks to guarantee an orderly and safe transition” until normality of university life is restored.
The authorities asked the university community to remain attentive to the official accounts of the institution.
