Judicial Branch of the Federation makes official respect for the acquired rights of its workers

In the Judicial Branch of San Luis Potosí, the dismissal of 54 judicial workers was accused and the risk that another 60 would suffer the same fate, while in Tabasco, at the end of the year, 166 would have left.

Meanwhile, until now it is unknown whether all of the judges and magistrates who were dismissed to be replaced by those elected last June have already received their legal settlements, as established in the tenth transitory article of the Judicial Reform.

Today the Judicial Weekly of the Federation published the General Working Conditions signed by Néstor Vargas Solano, president of the Judicial Administration Body, and Jesús Gilberto González Pimentel, general secretary of the PJF Workers Union.

Among other benefits that were maintained are major medical expenses insurance, the Insurance
Individualized Separation with contribution of public resources from the PJF equal to that contributed by the worker and with a limit of 10% of the basic salary.

Likewise, the existence of an Individualized Reserve Fund was maintained, which functions as savings and has the contribution of a similar amount from the PJF.

“The Judiciary will contribute on behalf of and in the name of the public servant a net amount
equal to the amount contributed by the latter, which may be 2%, 5% or 10% of the basic salary,” it is indicated.

Last October there was a mobilization of PJF workers throughout the country, given the risk that acquired rights would be canceled and the wave of dismissals of federal judicial employees that were already seen in some entities and as a consequence of the entry, in September, of more than 800 new judges and magistrates elected in June.

After the mobilizations, the majority Union obtained the signature with the endorsement of its working conditions, which benefit both union members and those who are not members.

Among other benefits, care is provided for diseases that affect this sector: vision and mobility problems, a result of their hours of work in offices.

For this reason, assistance for glasses and care for carpal tunnel disorders due to the continued use of the mouse and a Complementary and Support Medical Benefits Plan were maintained.

Extraordinary Economic for public servants in accordance with the guidelines
issued by the Plenary Session of the Administrative Body.

They also maintained salary, benefits, additional allowances, recognition, support, awards, incentives and expenses and the prohibition against reducing the amounts in force on the date of publication of the Constitutional Reform of September 15, 2024.

It was established that they will have balanced work days, a bonus of “40 days of compensation or the proportional part that corresponds to the days worked and the equivalent of twenty days of base salary” and for every five years of services provided in the Federation, duly accredited, “the right to pay a five-year bonus, as a complement to the tabular salary, until reaching twenty-five years, in accordance with the guidelines and Agreements determined by the OAJ.”

Among the benefits are support for the Union for Three Kings Day; Children’s Day; Mother’s Day; Father’s Day; Day of the PJF public servant; Craftsman’s Day; Teacher’s Day; Vacation days; Day of the Service Technician or Service Officers and New Year’s Eve Party in addition to the National Congress or Ordinary Union Convention and tournaments and sporting events.

Workers will have clothing assistance and to support their end-of-year expenses, an annual financial benefit for food assistance.

Each public servant will be awarded, for their years of service in the Judiciary (10 or 15 years), a medal, a diploma and an incentive in accordance with the amounts and guidelines established by the Plenary and in accordance with budget availability.

To those who are in a retirement situation due to their retirement; or your retirement pension due to age and length of service; or from their old-age or old-age unemployment retirement insurance, they may be given leave with pay for a period of two months, on the occasion of their retirement; or to achieve their retirement pension, based on age and length of service, or their retirement insurance for unemployment at advanced age or old age, in recognition of the work performed.
