PUERTO PLATA.- Much sorrow has been caused in this Atlantic city by the tragic death of Santo Penn Chevalier, who was a renowned dealer of newspapers in this jurisdiction.
Penn Chevalier fractured his skull after falling headlong on the pavement when he had a collision with another motorcycle crossing the intersection of the Emilio Prud’ Homme and Salomé Ureña roads.
The deceased worked at Listín Diario for 25 years, being a very respectful and hard-working citizen, who early on his motorcycle took the newspaper to homes and institutions in Puerto Plata.
“Today my heart is sad for the death of Santo Penn Chevalier, with whom I shared several years in the Listín Diario, more than colleagues, we treated each other as family. May God keep him in a good place. I join in the pain of his relatives,” said Santa Marte González.
Likewise, the manager of the regional agency of Listín Diario in Puerto Plata, Osvaldo García, confirmed that Santo Penn Chevalier had the fatal accident arriving at the newspaper’s office, an event that has filled his co-workers with sadness.
