Power generator to take water from the Tacuarí River reservoir
The bidding process for a generator engine for the capture of Tacuarí advances
The advisor to the OSE Board of Directors, Prof. Douglas Calleriza, reported that the work for the preparation of the bidding document for the purchase of a generator engine that will be installed in Toma del Tacuarí is in the final stage.
As explained, the project has been addressed together with the organization’s Board of Directors, with the objective of responding to a historical demand linked to the water supply system in the city of Melo.
Calleriza pointed out that, after completing the corresponding technical and administrative procedures, the call for bids will be carried out by the Northeast Regional of OSE, which has jurisdiction in the department of Cerro Largo.
The advisor highlighted that the procedure will follow the established institutional channels and that this progress is part of a line of work aimed at addressing the needs of the interior of the country, particularly Melo, through specific management actions.
