Wall Street opens prospects in Venezuela higher earlier

The NYSE opened higher on Monday, driven by the big oil companies after the White House urged them to exploit the enormous oil reserves of Venezuela.

In the first minutes, the Dow Jones gained 0.18%, the Nasdaq 0.92% and the expanded S&P 500 rose 0.53%.

At the same time, the prices of some US oil companies rose at the opening: Chevron gained 4.45% to $162.83 per share, Exxon Mobil added 1.73% to 124.77 dollars and ConocoPhillips advanced 4.15% to $100.71.
