SANTO DOMINGO.- The Public Ministry reported that he was arrested and preventive detention was requested, as a measure of coercion, against the former judge Juan Francisco Rodríguez Consoróaccused of death threats and violence against his partner, in events that occurred in the El Millón sector, of the National District.
According to a press release of the Attorney General’s Office, Rodriguez Consorówas reported by his partner to the Judicial Office of Permanent Care Services of the National District for Pamela Patricia Genao Guerreroprosecutor attached to the Unit for the Prevention and Prosecution of Gender Violence, Domestic Violence and Sexual Crimes.
The events were recorded on December 5, 2025, when the accused made death threats and insults against victim at his residence, conduct that was documented through audiovisual records incorporated into the process.
He Public Ministry It also established that, days later, the accused reiterated threatening expressions related to causing the death of the victim, which were communicated directly to a close relative.
As a consequence of the violence exercisedthe victim has injuries psychological which include anxiety and sleep disturbances that impact their daily functioning, according to the forensic psychological report issued on December 26, 2025.
The Public Ministry granted the facts the legal classification of violation of articles 309-1, 309-2 and 309-3, literal E, of the Dominican Penal Code, relating to aggravated domestic violence.
