The head of the federal Ministry of Culture (SC), Claudia Curiel de Icaza, reported that the evaluation of the heritage and cultural sites was carried out in the areas affected by yesterday’s 6.5 magnitude earthquake with its epicenter in Guerrero.

The agency remains in coordination with local authorities to address any situation that may arise.

For its part, the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature also reported that after the corresponding review due to the earthquake, “no damage is reported to the network of cultural venues or administrative facilities,” and that activities continue normally.
