Urdaneta Avenue, one of the main road arteries in the center of Caracas, has been restricted to vehicular traffic since this Friday due to the start of a series of organized cultural and recreational activities. by the Mayor’s Office of the Bolivariano Libertador municipality.
The programming, which will run until Tuesday, January 6, includes free events aimed at all citizens.
This Friday, January 2, the “Great Carruchada for Reconciliation and Peace” takes place, starting at 2:00 pm. Activities will continue during the weekend and the following days with the following schedule:
• Saturday, January 3: Carruchada and Marathon 12K 2026, starting at 7:00 am.
•Sunday, January 4: Parade of bands show, starting at 1:00 pm.
•Monday, January 5: Morning cycling ride.
• Tuesday, January 6: Descent of the Three Wise Men towards Plaza Bolívar, from 3:00 pm.
