Zulia demands the release of President Nicolás Maduro after the US attack against the country

The governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, from the Palacio de los Cóndores, headquarters of the regional Executive, demanded the release of the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, the first lady Cilia Flores.

Accompanied by General Javier Magallanes, head of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi) number 11, part of his government cabinet and members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Caldera repudiated the bomb attack on the national territory and described it as criminal. He also pointed out that it violates the entire legal system of the United Nations.

“We ratify our loyalty to the Bolivarian Constitution, in force since 1999, which the people approved at the electoral polls,” said the Governor.

Likewise, he assured that he will defend “peace and our right to exist as a nation, free, sovereign, independent, in perfect popular, military, and police union because Zulia is and will always be a land of loyalists.”
