Mayor Meléndez ratifies her commitment and support to the elderly of Caracas

Alcaldesa Meléndez ratificar su compromiso y apoyo a los adultos mayores de Caracas

With the aim of ratifying her commitment and support to the older adults who reside in the Asilo La Providencia, in the San Juan parish, of the Capital District, the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, visited the facilities of this center.

The information was announced by the municipal president on her official account on the social network Instagram, where she highlighted that during the tour of the institution, she shared experiences with the grandparents, reaffirming her management’s support for the humanitarian work carried out by the Hermanitas de los Pobres de Maiquetía Civil Association in favor of the most vulnerable sectors of the capital.

Meléndez described this meeting as a blessing, regarding the festivities for the birth of the Child God and the culmination of the year 2025.

The Caracas authority highlighted the value of the testimonies of faith and hope of the grandparents, in addition to ensuring that these visits are part of an agenda of love and solidarity to welcome the year 2026 with the best wishes for well-being for the entire community of the San Juan parish.

The activity was also attended by the Popular Power Minister of Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, who accompanied the mayor in a direct dialogue with the nuns and residents.
