The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep concern regarding the recent narratives of confrontation issued by the Government of the United States of America against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The information was announced by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through an Official Statement published on his Telegram channel, where he points out that Venezuela expresses its firm solidarity with the Iranian people and Government, calling for an end to the interventionist positions that compromise regional stability.
In the letter, Venezuela observes with concern how it is intended to destabilize Iran through the use of digital platforms to foment internal conflict, a technique typical of the Fifth Generation War. «This situation is aggravated by the impact of the Unilateral Coercive Measures that seek economic asphyxiation, configuring a strategy of external pressure that violates the sovereignty and social peace of the sister Iranian nation.
Likewise, Venezuela reaffirms that the only path to lasting stability is sovereign dialogue and diplomacy, without foreign interference. “We urge the international community to promote spaces of understanding where Iran’s inalienable right to resolve its internal affairs is respected within the framework of its own legality and autonomy.”

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep concern regarding the recent narratives of confrontation issued by the Government of the United States of America against the sister Islamic Republic of Iran. In this sense, Venezuela expresses its firm solidarity with the Iranian People and Government, calling for the cessation of interventionist positions that compromise regional stability.
We consider that the use of forceful language departs from the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter. Such pronouncements represent a risk to international peace and make it difficult to build solutions based on mutual respect.
Venezuela observes with concern how attempts are made to destabilize Iran through the use of digital platforms to foment internal conflict, a technique typical of the Fifth Generation War. This situation is aggravated by the impact of the Unilateral Coercive Measures that seek economic asphyxiation, configuring a strategy of external pressure that violates the sovereignty and social peace of the sister Iranian nation.
The Bolivarian Government, faithful to its vocation for peace, reaffirms that the only path to lasting stability is sovereign dialogue and diplomacy, without foreign interference. Caracas, January 2, 2026.
In an official statement issued this Friday, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abas Araqchi, launched a forceful reply to US President Donald Trump’s statements about his military support for Iranian protesters.
Araqchi stated that Trump’s message “is probably influenced by those who fear diplomacy,” reports the Irna agency.
The Iranian response makes a clear distinction between peaceful economic protests, which it describes as a “legitimate right of citizens.”
The closing of the message is a direct and belligerent warning. Araqchi assured that the great Iranian nation will categorically reject any interference in its internal affairs and sent a signal of military force: “Our powerful armed forces are on alert and know exactly which targets to attack in case Iran’s sovereignty is violated.”
