According to Urbia, the park’s concessionaire, two other people had minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The dealership said it regretted the accident that allegedly affected people who were “in a commercial beverage cart.”

The case occurred around 5pm this Friday (2), near Gate 3 of the park, informed the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat.

Some regions of the capital of São Paulo suffered from winds this afternoon. The highest wind gust recorded in the city of São Paulo was 47 kilometers per hour (km/h), at the Interlagos Meteorological Station.

The state Civil Defense reported that, according to the Beaufort Scale, which is used by meteorology to measure wind speed, a speed of 63 km/h or above would be necessary for a tree to be felled.
