Since January 2026, gasoline and ACPM prices have changed in Colombia, with variations depending on the city. Here the details.
The Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG) announced the fuel reference prices that will govern in Colombia from January 1, 2026with values differentiated by city and applicable to the gasoline engine current and to ACPM. The information corresponds to the 13 main cities in the country and is part of the periodic update that defines the base values for marketing to the public.
According to the document of the CREGhe national average price of regular gasoline will be located in 16,057 pesos per gallonwhile the average of ACPM will be 10,984 pesos per gallon. These figures result from the application of the current methodology, which incorporates production costs, transportation, taxes and distribution margins.

How much will it cost in your city?
According to the CREG, Bogota will have a price of 16,491 pesos per gallon of gasoline and 11,276 pesos per gallon of ACPM. In Medellinthe values will be 16,412 and 11,301 pesosrespectively. Cali will record 16,502 pesos for gasoline and 11,424 pesos for ACPMwhile Barranquilla will have prices of 16,126 and 10,951 pesos.
In the Caribbean region, Cartagena will have a value of 16,083 pesos per gallon of gasoline and 10,916 pesos for ACPM. Hunting will record 16,333 and 11,166 pesosrespectively. In it east of the country, Bucaramanga will reach 16,248 pesos for gasoline and 11,025 pesos for ACPMwhile Villavicencio will present one of the highest values in gasoline, with 16,591 pesosand 11,376 pesos for ACPM.

In it Coffee Axis, Pereira will have prices of 16,439 pesos for gasoline and 11,363 for ACPMand Manizales of 16,466 and 11,349 pesos. Ibague will be located in 16,407 pesos for gasoline and 11,267 pesos for ACPM. In contrast, the lowest values are recorded in Grass and Cucutawhere gasoline will cost 14,247 and 14,400 pesosrespectively, and the ACPM10,338 and 9,032 pesos.
The CREG explained that these prices are calculated according to the current regulations and to the resolutions that regulate the tariff structure for liquid fuels in the country, applicable from January 1, 2026.
How is the price of fuel defined?
The CREG details that the final price to the public It is made up of several factors, including the entry to the producerthe national taxeshe carbon taxthe transport rates for polyductsthe wholesale and retail distribution marginsas well as the transportation costs to service stations. Also included are the values associated with the blend with biofuelsboth for gasoline and ACPM.
