The Government of Venezuela expressed this Wednesday its rejection of the attack recently carried out against the official residence of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the Novgorod region.
Through a statement released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, the position of the Bolivarian nation was announced regarding what has been called by Moscow as an act of provocation by kyiv to hinder the peace agreements.
This Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense shared a map showing the routes and destruction scheme of the unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that tried to attack the presidential residence.
In the report, it was detailed that the devices – 41 in total – were shot down over the territory of the Russian provinces of Novgorod, Smolensk and Bryansk.
In this regard, Venezuela has said that “the deliberate use of long-range means against facilities linked to the head of state reveals reckless and criminal conduct, aimed at sowing chaos, political intimidation and global instability.”
In this sense, the Bolivarian Government reiterates its support and solidarity with the people and Government of Russia.
