Letter of the Year 2026: predictions for Cuba

The Letter of the Year 2026 was presented in Havana by the Yoruba Cultural Association after consulting the Ifá oracle. It includes predictions, warnings and recommendations for Cuba and the world.

MADRID, Spain.- The Yoruba Cultural Association of Cuba made known the Letter of the Year 2026, a traditional spiritual document of the Yoruba religion that includes predictions, warnings and recommendations for Cuba and the world. The ceremony took place on December 31, 2025 at the headquarters of the institution, located in Old Havana, after the ritual consultations and sacrifices prescribed by the Ifá oracle.

Like every year, the Letter of the Year is prepared by Ifá priests and constitutes a spiritual guide for believers and practitioners of this religion, with emphasis on health, social behavior, family and coexistence, according to the signs and divinities that govern the new cycle.

On December 31, 2025, at the headquarters of the Religious Institution Yoruba Cultural Association of Cuba, located at Prado #615 between Monte and Dragones, municipality of La Habana Vieja, Havana, Cuba, the Ifá priests meet to perform the ceremony of the Letter of the Year 2026, presided over by the Chief Priest of Ifá Carlos Argudín Valenzuela “Awo Ogunda She Omo Ala Aggayú”, with the support of the Board of Directors, the Councils of Senior Priests of the Republic of Cuba, the extensions of provincial operations, branches abroad and guests from other nations, after consultation of the 25 prescribed positions and sacrifices.
