The Venezuelan Embassy in the Congo reiterated its call for peace during the third donation to an orphanage in Brazzaville, to once again consolidate the People’s Diplomacy and continue the defense of the truth of Venezuela, through a loving policy, the Venezuelan diplomatic corps to the Republic of the Congo, accompanied by the Federation of Foreign Communities of Brazzaville, delivered a donation of food and medicine to the “Maison Notre Dame de Nazareth” orphanage.
During the activity, Ambassador Laura Evangelia Suárez handed out medicines to treat various diseases, and expressed that this donation is made with the deepest love of the Venezuelan People and Government, who are lovers of peace, oppose war and lend a hand to those most in need.
The delivery was accompanied by a representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Solidarity and Humanitarian Action of the Congo and the Cuban medical brigade, which provided medical care to the local boys and girls.
Subsequently, the Venezuelan Embassy and the Brazzaville Foreigners Community delivered a donation of non-perishable food, which was pleasantly received by the owner of the place, who highlighted that the contribution will be of great help to meet the needs of the children.
Those present expressed their desire for peace for Venezuela and the Latin American and Caribbean region, pointing out Venezuela’s love for peace and help to the needy people of the world.
The activity was attended by the wife of the ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, Françoise Yvette Nkoum-Me-Ntseny Née Mekongo, as well as the deputy operations representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Eugenie Makolet.
It is the third time that the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission has successfully organized a donation of food and medicine to an orphanage in Brazzaville, during this month of December. The orphanage “Maison Notre Dame de Nazareth” was created on September 5, 1998, by Mother Marie Thérèse Onga Yolo, with the aim of providing a home and caring for more than 20 homeless girls and boys in the neighborhood.
