Venezuela and Sudan address current US war threats

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, reported through social networks that he had telephone contact with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sudan, Mohieldin Salim Ahmed Ibrahim, where he had the opportunity to address the threats and constant aggression carried out by the United States in the region.

«We address the current war threats facing Venezuela, as well as the acts of piracy perpetrated by the United States in the Caribbean with the aim of seizing Venezuelan oil. “We reiterate our joint position in rejection of these violations of international law and the principles of sovereignty and self-determination of all countries,” Gil wrote on his Telegram channel.

Likewise, he noted that in the conversation both countries reaffirmed the ties of bilateral cooperation and conveyed President Nicolás Maduro’s congratulations “to the Sudanese people and their Government on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of their independence, which is celebrated on January 1.”

“The Government and people of Venezuela send a fraternal hug to the brother people of Sudan and we hope that in 2026 the stability and peace of Sudan will be consolidated in favor of a prosperous and sovereign future,” the Venezuelan foreign minister’s message concluded.
