The security policy implemented by the national government has allowed Venezuela to show a significant decrease in the homicide rate today, reported the sectoral vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during the activation of the Peace Quadrants in the state of Aragua.
Cabello highlighted the results obtained in terms of citizen security: “in 2024 on this date there were 330 more homicides than there are, by this time, in 2025, murders have been reduced by more than 25%.”
In this sense, Cabello Rondón requested the support of the spokespersons of the Communal Circuits to continue with the reduction of this crime, emphasizing that:
“Security is not just a problem for the National Government, it is a problem for everyone.”
This achievement has been possible thanks to the popular-military-police fusion as a form of government directly in the territory, which has allowed us to strengthen the institutional presence and citizen participation in the construction of peace.
