Machado affirms that 2026 will be the year of the “consolidation of freedom” in Venezuela

«Like every year, we look forward to the arrival of a new year. We do it with faith, with hope, with confidence that this new time will bring us a better future,” said Machado.

The leader pointed out that the country is reaching the end of a “decisive year,” which she described as complex, but decisive for the recent history of Venezuela. In his opinion, this period marks a before and after in the fight for political change.

«2026 will be the year of the consolidation of the freedom of our nation. Venezuela has a possible, realistic and democratic path to recover the country. It is not an improvisation. Precisely for this reason, it is a process that requires order, perseverance and collective commitment,” he stated.

Machado emphasized the unity and determination of the Venezuelan people, pointing out that the democratic struggle faces daily challenges that require dedication and perseverance. “We have done it for love: for love of our children, for love of our families, for love of Venezuela, for love of freedom,” he added.

In the same video, a message from Edmundo González Urrutia was also broadcast, who maintained that “no one is left over in Venezuela” and assured that the future of the country has already been decided by the citizens.

«The decision has already been made by the people. And when a nation decides to move forward, there is no turning back, no matter how difficult or unforeseen the obstacles may be. We are moving forward,” said González Urrutia, while calling for people to travel the path with patience, mutual trust and unity.
