The vallenato singer and presenter of Good morning, ColombiaOrlando Liñán, moved his followers after publishing a video in which, in a sung way, he reflects on one of the most shocking episodes of his recent life: the violent robbery of which he was a victim in the north of Bogotá and which deeply marked his 2025.

In the reel, Liñán remembers that moment not only from pain, but from gratitude. “Life can change in seconds. I lived an experience that no one wants to live, but today I thank God because he gave me a new opportunity,” says the artist, highlighting that his presence today is proof of faith and purpose.

What happened to Orlando Liñán?
The message becomes especially relevant after Liñán himself reported on social networks that he was assaulted at the entrance to his building, in an exclusive sector of the capital. According to him, the criminal pointed a firearm at his head, forcing him to hand over his belongings. “They almost killed me,” He assured at the time, visibly affected by the situation.
Added to this fact are the health problems who have kept him incapacitated and immobilized by severe pain when walking, which is why he has been absent from the RCN morning program for several weeks. The artist confirmed that he is under medical diagnosis and in the process of recovery.
