Anyone who misses the deadline will have to wait for a special call from the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) to access the benefit, paid for with resources from the Social Integration Program (PIS) and the Public Servant Assets Training Program (Pasep).

According to the most recent MTE balance sheet, released last week, 141,628 workers had not yet received the PIS/Pasep salary bonus. According to the ministry, there are R$145.7 million left to be withdrawn.

In the 2025 calendar, 26,537,809 workers are entitled to the benefit. Of these, 26,396,181 (99.47%) have already received, totaling more than R$30.7 billion paid.

The benefit refers to the base year 2023 and also includes reviews of payments from the previous five years. Anyone who misses the deadline will have to wait for a special call from the MTE to access the benefit.

Who is entitled

Workers who meet the following criteria can receive the bonus:

  • Be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
  • Have received up to two minimum wages of average monthly remuneration during the period worked;
  • Have carried out paid work for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year;
  • Have the data correctly entered by the employer on eSocial;
  • Domestic workers and young apprentices do not receive a salary bonus, because the benefit requires employment with a company, not with another individual.

Salary bonus consultations can be made from the 5th of each month through the following channels:

  • Digital Work Card (application or website);
  • Portal Gov.br.

Workers who filed an administrative appeal receive payment on the 15th of each month, or on the first business day following.

PIS is paid to private sector workers. Pasep is paid to public servants, military personnel and employees of state-owned companies.

Where to withdraw the benefit

Payment of the salary bonus is made by Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil, depending on the worker’s type of employment.

At Caixa, which pays PIS, the amount can be withdrawn by:

  • Credit to current or savings account;
  • Digital account via the Caixa Tem app.

Those who do not have an account can withdraw funds at agencies, lotteries, self-service terminals, Caixa Aqui banking correspondents and other channels.

At Banco do Brasil, which deposits the Pasep, payment occurs via:

  • Bank account credit;
  • Transfer via Pix or TED;
  • Withdrawal in person at branches, in the case of non-account holders.

Staggered calendar

The 2025 Salary Allowance payment calendar began on February 17th and continues until this Monday, with dates defined according to the worker’s month of birth.

For 2026, the Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund (Codefat) has already approved the release of R$33.5 billion to pay the benefit to 26.9 million workers, with start scheduled for February 15th.

Service channels

In case of doubt, the worker can seek information:

  • By phone 158 (Hello Work);
  • In the Regional Labor Superintendencies;
  • For the Facilita Brasil service.
