He Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Centro 1 declared the presidential formulas of the parties inadmissible Free Peru and Country for Allwhose main candidates are the fugitive Vladimir Cerrón Rojas and the comedian Carlos Alvarezrespectively for the Elections 2026. The decision is due to errors made by both groups when registering their presidential lists.
In the first case, in accordance with resolution No. 08803-2025-JEE-LIC1/JNE, the JEE detected that in the sworn declaration of consent to participate in the General Elections 2026 For Cerrón Rojas, the date was recorded as December 21, 2022, while the confirmation of his resume shows the date as December 21, 2025; that is, three years apart.

“(…) Contravening the provisions of the regulations and the jurisprudential criteria contained in the ruling issued in File No. 01712-2023-PA/TC, which requires that the sworn statement be issued on the same date or after the resume; therefore, it must be corrected,” the document reads.
For this reason, the JEE granted two days of time for Free Peru correct the errors detected “under warning of declaring the inadmissibility of the formula or the candidate, as appropriate.”
It is important to remember that Free Peru has Cerrón Rojas, the congressman, within its presidential formula Flavio Cruz and Cerrón’s mother, Bertha Rojas.

JEE declares inadmissible presidential list of Country for All
The same JEE of Lima Centro 1 also declared the presidential list of Country for Everythings. According to the electoral body, in the sworn declaration of consent to participate in the General Elections 2026the members of the presidential formula —Carlos Alvarez, Maria Chambizea and Diego Guevara— did not record the full name of the political party at the time of registration.
In that sense, they also have days after being notified to correct the observations detected.
