25 Children celebrated their best Christmas after beating cancer and ringing the victory bell at the HIC in Bucaramanga.
In an event full of emotion, 25 boys and girls who defeated cancer celebrated the completion of their treatment by ringing the victory bell at the International Hospital of Colombia (HIC)an international symbol of hope and improvement that marks the end of a difficult period and the beginning of a new life.
The ceremony, which brought together family members, doctors, nurses and volunteers, took place in December, becoming a moment of celebration and joy for families who have walked alongside their children during months of treatment. For the little ones, each ringing of the bell represents not only the end of chemotherapies and procedures, but also the culmination of a process of struggle, emotional support and resilience.
