The largest flow of automobiles is on the Cali-Palmira and Bogotá roads.
During the Christmas festive bridgebetween December 19 and 25, 2025, more than 6.5 million vehicles circulated on the country’s concessioned roads, according to the balance provided by the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI)which monitored traffic behavior in the main road corridors.
In total, the passage of 6,549,323 vehiclesa figure that shows an increase compared to the same period of the previous year. The days with the highest flow were Saturday December 20with 1,081,742 vehicles, and the Tuesday December 23when 1,080,067 were mobilized.

Corridors with the highest traffic
Five projects concentrated the highest volume of traffic during the festive long weekend. At the head was the New Valley Road Mesh – Cali–Palmira Accesseswhere the tolls of Istanbul, CIAT and Cerrito recorded 394,443 vehicles.
They followed him Andes tollin the North Access project, with 281,372 vehicles; Chusacáin the Third Lane Bogotá–Girardot, with 218,445; The Oakfrom the Briceño–Tunja–Sogamoso corridor, with 216,479; and Amagain Pacífico 1, with 90,431 vehicles.
Other corridors with high flow were the Boquerón tollon the road to Llano, with 69,235 vehicles, and Gamboteon the Caribbean Highway, with 54,369.
Reinforcement in tolls and road operations
To meet the increase in traffic, the concessionaires arranged more than 430 people to support collection efforts in 117 operational tollsespecially at points of greatest demand and in strategic corridors.
The president of the ANI, Oscar Torrespointed out that traffic behavior confirms a trend that continues on holiday weekends.
“The total number of vehicles mobilized reaffirms the increasing traffic trend during the festive long weekends. The deployment of personnel at the tolls made it possible to mitigate the effects of the high traffic flow and maintain continuous mobility conditions on the concessioned roads,” he stated.
Concessioned network capacity
Currently, the network of road concessions is made up of 41 runnerswhich add up 7,499 kilometers in 23 departments and the Capital District. Of these projects, 37 have tolls in operation, for a total of 117 stations.
The ANI indicated that coordination is maintained with concessionaires and auditors at the entrances and exits of cities such as Bogotá, Cali and Medellínin order to apply measures that allow a constant flow of vehicles, in coordination with departmental and local authorities.
Traffic control technology
More than 3,100 devices of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)including variable messaging panels, cameras, dynamic and static scales, booths with electronic payment, SOS posts and Control and Operation Centers.
These centers monitor road operations through more than 1,130 cameras, 1,240 SOS posts for emergency care and 276 information panelsin addition to more than 50 speed meters distributed in the corridors.
