A display of Love and Food Prosperity Plan It takes place this Saturday in the El Valle parish of Caracas, as part of the national distribution operation of more than 158 thousand tons of food to supply basic items to more than five million families throughout the country.
The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, Accompanied by authorities from the Ministry of Popular Power for Food, she leads an inspection of the markets located in the populous Caracas parish, where daily consumption items are sold with savings between 40 and 70%.
“Almost 158 thousand metric tons distributed in all these days to serve almost 5 million families, so, President Nicolás Maduro, your instruction has been fulfilled, and I mainly want to highlight the productive union of Venezuela and the articulation between the public sector and the private sector,” expressed the vice president, to the cameras of Venezuelan Television (VTV).
He explained that the main food basket consists of 37 products, and of that amount, 25 are nationally produced. He also reported that open-air markets are expanding throughout the territory and 100 facilities in the “Pedevales (Pdval)” have been recovered, out of the goal set by the president of 416 stores by 2026.
Saturation Plan
“So the Great Food Mission has fulfilled Venezuela, and the productive Venezuelan has also fulfilled our country,” he said in reference to this national effort of the other great associated program, such as the Saturation plan, ordered by President Maduro, where all sectors of the industry involved in production, planting, harvesting, distribution and marketing are present.
The achievements in this national deployment express the efforts of all the country’s productive economic sectors. “That has been the first great effort, the second great logistical effort, the distribution in the national territory of these very substantial volumes to fulfill this saturation plan.”
New year of victories
“We are happy, we are pleased and we will continue to win in favor of the Venezuelan people and, in the year 2026, we still do not know but I am certain that in the new year we will mark another great page, we will write a great page in our history for independence, for the sovereignty of Venezuela.”
Both in these spaces in Caracas and in other places in the country, there is complete coordination with the Bicentenario Supply Network, the Venezuela Eat + Fish Plan, the National Institute of Nutrition, the Mobile Wineries, Mercal, Pdval, producers and Communes, to reinforce and complement the food saturation plan.
In addition to the services that have been provided for the sale of food to Venezuelan families, comprehensive care is also offered to the little ones in the house with recreational activities through programs of various institutions.
