The Atlantic Governorate reported that this Friday December 26 It will be the last day enabled in 2025 to pay for the passport process, aimed at citizens who wish to schedule appointments until next December 30.
The departmental administration made a special call to people who plan to travel during the end-of-year season to complete the procedure in advance and avoid setbacks.

Once this date closes, no new payments will be enabled until the adjustments corresponding to the new values of the payments are made. Departmental Taxes and of National Stampas well as the update of the web platform and the implementation by the operator, processes that will be carried out by 2026.
Likewise, the government warned that citizens who have already made the first payment but have not scheduled their appointment should take into account that said payment will not be valid for 2026, due to the change in rates. In these cases, people must request a refund of the money through established official channels.
Likewise, the entity reiterated the importance of those who plan to travel abroad to verify the status of their passport in advance, confirming that the document does not present detachments and has a minimum validity of more than six months before its expiration.

Failure to comply with these conditions could result in denial of boarding or departure from the country by airlines and immigration authorities, in accordance with international regulations.
The Atlantic Governorate reiterated its commitment to providing clear and timely information, and invited citizens to complete their procedures in time to avoid inconveniences during the end-of-year season.
