Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps arrested Giovanny Gregorio Hurtado Díaz, 58 years old, for the murder of his ex-partner Dorelis Francelina Zambrano, 44 years old. The event occurred in the Carirubana parish, in Punto Fijo, Falcón state.
Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, detailed on Instagram that on December 18, Hurtado Díaz subdued the victim and savagely beat her after having a strong argument because the woman had ended the love relationship.
“The man, Blinded by jealousy and anger, he subdued her and hit her with blunt objects (stone and tree trunk), and later abused her.until his death; Once the atrocious crime was committed, Hurtado Diaz fled the scene,” Rico said.
After an exhaustive search and intelligence work, the Cicpc commissions managed to locate and capture the femicide and he was placed under the orders of the Public Ministry.
