The president of JudiciaryJanet Tello Gilardi, reaffirmed the commitment of the institution she leads to an independent, autonomous, transparent and respectful justice system for the rights of all.
Through a message on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the judicial authority pointed out that the country faces challenging moments, which require acting with unity and responsibility.
Tello Gilardi extended his greetings to all Peruvians, especially to the workers of the Judicial Branch before the advent of these end-of-year festivities.
“I want to recognize the dedication and effort of each member of the institution who, even in the face of difficulties, continues to work so that all people have access to justice,” he remarked.
He maintained that this year, thanks to the unity of judges and jurisdictional and administrative personnel, important advances have been achieved that strengthen the rights and dignify the work of judicial servants.
PROTOCOLAR GREETING
On the other hand, Tello Gilardi also received the protocol greeting for these holidays from the judges of the Plenary Chamber of the Supreme Court, the members of the Executive Council.
Also of provisional supreme judges, presidents of the superior courts, jurisdictional and administrative staff, officials and directors of the institution.
This event is carried out in a traditional way every year on the occasion of the aforementioned celebrations, in the Oath Hall of the National Palace of Justice.
In this event, Tello Gilardi also highlighted the unity of the judges, as well as the jurisdictional and administrative staff to face all the vicissitudes and difficulties presented during the year 2025.
In addition, he said that this end of the year finds the members of the institution stronger than ever, and with the same desire to continue at that pace next year 2026.
In this context, he recalled the birth of Jesus which, he noted, fills the judiciary with the strengths to continue working for values and what it means to provide justice in our country.
“Because Jesus is a sign of hope, peace and unity, values and principles to which we owe and guide our judicial work in all instances,” said Tello Gilardi.
After his speech, the highest judicial authority received the greeting of the judges who are members of the Plenary Chamber of the Supreme Court, led by the supreme judge dean César San Marín Castro.
