Attention! Appointment days for passports in Santander return in January

For the holiday season, special events such as those held at the Vicente Díaz Romero Coliseum return on January 7.

The Bucaramanga Passport Office informed citizens that it will resume its in-person activities starting on Monday, January 5, 2026starting a new year with regular attention to the public and the reactivation of important service strategies, such as Provincial Afternoons and special sessions aimed at different professionals in the department, similar to those previously held for health personnel, teachers and journalists, among others.

When does the Bucaramanga Passport Office resume service in 2026?

Among the novelties, the realization of special appointment dayswhich will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the Vicente Díaz Romero Coliseum, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm These sessions seek to facilitate access to passport procedures, especially for those who have not been able to schedule their appointment in advance, allowing for faster service to the community during the first weeks of the year.

How do the special days and Provincial Afternoons work to obtain the passport?

Likewise, the Passport Office will resume the strategy “Provincial Afternoons”aimed at bringing services closer to citizens from municipalities other than the metropolitan area. This initiative seeks to guarantee that residents of different regions can carry out their procedures without the need for long trips and with the ease of receiving direct and personalized attention.
