The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated Christmas at the Miraflores Palace with music and a dinner. This is how he made it known through his social networks.

The president shared photographs from Christmas Eve on his Telegram channel, where he was accompanied by government authorities, family members and representatives of communities and large missions.

“Today, the day of the birth of Jesus in the humble manger, here we simple people are sharing this special dinner and receiving the blessings of the family,” he highlighted in his publication.

Among his wishes, he asked for peace and prosperity for Venezuela, while expressing his happiness at sharing with those present.

Earlier, the President Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores, addressed a Christmas message to the nation to celebrate unity and faith in a better future.

Flores highlighted the brotherhood, joy and resilience of the Venezuelan people. He stressed that good will always triumph in life: “Venezuela is preparing to receive the Child Jesus between songs and prayers, from this, the land of the possible,” he expressed in the company of a group of children.

The national leader urged Venezuelans to feel proud of living in this time. “This is the time of Venezuela’s rebirth. God’s trials have made us better people and a better country,” he said excitedly in his Christmas message.
