He Supervisory Body for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel) reported that in the first half of the year, 83.94% of the country’s populated geographic area had mobile coverage 4G guaranteed by one of the four operators.
In that sense, he indicated that users can check which operator provides the greatest coverage in the place where they live or if they plan to travel, so that they do not have signal problems when they are at that point.
To analyze which companies have the best coverage in the country, the regulator reported that users can access the digital tool Check your signal. Here you can review by technology, whether 5G, 4G, 3G or 2G.
To do this, users must enter https://checatusenal.osiptel.gob.pe, enter the exact address where they are located or select the department, province, district or population center of interest, to find out the coverage offered by each operator.
The portal will display a single interactive map of mobile coverage in the country, prepared based on the information reported by the operating companies themselves. In this way, users can inform themselves, compare and decide the option that best suits them.
