The sectoral vice president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, asserted that Venezuela has a transcendental role in the creation of a new world order.
”We play a decisive role for humanity; let no one have a doubt. We are participating in the construction of a new global balance,” said Padrino López during a visit to the Francisco de Miranda Air Base, in Caracas.
There he transmitted the Christmas greeting from President Nicolás Maduro Moros and stressed that the world order will depend on what happens in Venezuela. “Think carefully about what I’m saying,” he explained to the troops after giving gifts to the staff’s children and sharing a celebration for the birth of Baby Jesus.
According to Padrino López, the country’s destiny will define whether the world opens up to cooperation and respect for sovereignty, or if it succumbs to chaos and isolationism.
He ratified that Venezuelans reject imperial subjugation and the use of force to impose political models. “That’s over; today there is another world and we have to understand it,” he said.
Finally, the minister stated that Christmas is the time to bring out the best in everyone, and urged those present to preserve Bolívar’s legacy and participatory democracy. «What we are fighting today is no small thing; We defend the concept of Homeland. That is why we are here, as a family united in the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, which is a bastion of example and patriotism. That is why the whole world is looking at us, gentlemen generals and admirals here present; “Everyone is watching what we do,” he concluded.
