Who are the four ambassadors whose functions the Government terminated?

ANDl Executive Branch concluded the functions of four ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary authorities of Peru accredited in different countries, in accordance with supreme resolutions issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


According to Supreme Resolution No. 214-2025-RE, published in El Peruano, the termination of the functions of Jorge Antonio Rosado La Torre as ambassador of Peru in the Republic of El Salvador and in Belize.

Likewise, through Supreme Resolution No. 215-2025-RE, the Executive terminated the functions of Mario Juvenal López Chávarri as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Peru to Jamaica.

Meanwhile, Supreme Resolution No. 216-2025-RE establishes the cessation of Claudia Giuliana Betalleluz Otiura as ambassador of Peru to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

Finally, through Supreme Resolution No. 217-2025-RE, the designation of Cecilia Zunilda Galarreta Bazán as ambassador of Peru to the Republic of the Philippines.

In all cases, the resolutions specify that the exact date of the end of functions will be determined later by ministerial resolution.

The provisions bear the signature of the President of the Republic, José Jerí Oréand the chancellor Hugo De Zela Martínez. In parallel, the Foreign Ministry also made new appointments official in Peru-Ecuador binational bodies and annulled a previous ministerial resolution.
