A serious traffic accident occurred in the Chasqui – Pampas sector, in the town of Jacas Chico, along the Huánuco – La Unión route, after a vehicle lost its way and fell into an abyss.
The incident left several people injured, who were rescued by emergency teams and immediately transferred to the nearest health centers, to the district of La Unión, where they receive medical attention.
Fortunately, so far no human losses have been reported despite the magnitude of the accident, the competent authorities began investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
